How to book?
Simply download our app from the App store or Play store. Set up your profile for a personalized experience. Search for a professional. After confirming the appointment time and date, your appointment will be sent to the professional for them to accept the job. Please keep in mind, our professionals have the freedom of declining appointments.
What to before your appointment
For a blowout or braid, we ask you keep your hair wet. We recommend washing your hair 10-15 minutes prior to the appointment so your hair is damp but not soaking wet.
For updos, no need to wash your hair before your appointment. Dry hair gives the best results, and we recommend you wash it the day before your appointment.
For cornrows, please keep your hair dry. For bantu knots, flexi rods, or two-strand twist is entirely up to you. For re-twists, it is best to keep hair wet.
For makeup, please have a makeup-free, cleansed and moisturized face prior to our artists’ arrival.
For manicures, please have your nails free of any gel, shellac or other nail treatments.
Our beauty professionals will have products and tools with them. If you don’t/didn’t fill out your profile, please advise your professional of any allergies or concerns.
Got pets? Awesome! However, some professionals may have allergies or are afraid. Please crate animals before our professionals come, it would increase the safety for professionals. Please secure a place that you can sit near an electrical outlet. A flat surface is preferred, that way your professional can plug in or lay out any tools/products. It is very important that you are ready for your appointment!
How long is the appointment?
The length of your appointment may vary on the type of service(s) and style you select. For example, a blowout can take up to 45 minutes. Cornrows can take up to 45 minutes without extensions. Makeup application can take up to 60 minutes. Manicures can take up to 45 minutes. We highly recommend filling out your profile to minimize time, it’s like your consultation!
Simply go into the app and select appointments. Select the “running late” button and that will notify your professional that you’re running late. The professional can wait up to 15 minutes. If there are any issues please email email@example.com or give us a call at 240-912-4685.

What areas do you service?
Great question! Our goal is to serve the entire Washington Metropolitan area. That includes the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. You can customize your search of professionals all within the app.

How does payment work?
During the profile setup, you will be able to enter credit card details. Yes, it’s safe and we cannot access this information.
Should I tip?
Tips are NOT required; however, our professionals will greatly appreciate it. After your appointment has been completed, you can go back into the app to add a tip.
What will professionals have on them?
Hair stylists will have a hairdryer, sets of brushes, curling iron, flat iron, and a selection of products that may be used on your hair. Makeup artists will most likely use several different products that are within the industry standard. We require our professionals to sanitize all tools/products. Manicurists will have an assortment of nail polish colors, and tools needed for your manicure.
What do I need to do if I need to cancel my appointment?
We require that you cancel your appointment 24 hours’ prior of your scheduled appointment date and time. You may go into the app to cancel your appointment. If you are able to select the “Cancel appointment” button, then that means you are within the time frame of canceling that appointment. If you cancel inside the 24 hours, you will be charged the full amount of the service you selected.
