  • any specific accessories you want them to include.

Some tips for your wedding day style appointment.

1 Month Before Wedding Day:

  • Get a TRIM. Don’t make any big changes with color. You want your hair in the best condition but don’t do anything drastic.
  • If you plan to wear clip in extensions on your wedding day, take them to your stylist and have them blended into your natural hair. If your planning to have long term extensions, make your appointment and have them done a few weeks in advance.
  • Start using deep treatment hair masks and good quality shampoo and conditioner. You want your hair to be hydrated and healthy.
  • Limit heat styling to prevent breakage and damage.
  • Look for wedding day styles that compliment your dress, the style/theme of your wedding. Gather inspiration photos and begin to narrow it down. Make sure you take into account your length and texture when looking at Pinterest/Instagram photos.
  • If you want to schedule a trial, do it! It never hurts to be prepared. You can schedule a trial hair run through your bloom’d app.

Wedding Day

  • Give yourself plenty of time. Make your appointment for several hours prior to the ceremony to assure that that your stylist has plenty of time to bring your vision to life.
  • Know what style you want and have inspiration photos ready.
  • Take the weather into consideration. Is it cool and dry? Go for the cascading curls and half-up styles. If you’re getting married in a hot, humid climate – you may want to choose an up-do to avoid curls falling or having hair sticking to your face and neck.
  • Accessories? Do you have a veil? A headband? An intricate comb? Make sure you have it all ready and available to the stylist so they can work it into your style seamlessly.
  • Prep your hair correctly. MOST of the time, you won’t want to have freshly washed hair on your wedding day. Consider getting a blowout the day before so you have a good base for a long-lasting style.
